El sombrero de tres picos (The Three-Cornered Hat or Le tricorne) is a ballet choreographed by Léonide Massine to music by Manuel de Falla. It was commissioned by Sergei Diaghilev and premiered in 1919. We shall be performing the three dances from Act II of this ballet.
1. The Neighbours’s dance
2. The Miller’s dance and
3. The Final dance.

The Carmen Suites are two suites of orchestral music drawn from the music of Georges Bizet's 1875 opera Carmen and compiled posthumously by his friend Ernest Guiraud. They adhere very closely to Bizet's orchestration.
Suite no 1 is made up of the following works:
No. 1. Prélude – Act I, prelude (fate motive)
No. 1a. Aragonaise – Interlude (entr'acte) before act 4
No.2. Intermezzo – Interlude (entr'acte) before act 3
No. 3. Séguedille – Act 1, Carmen: "Près des remparts de Séville"
No. 4. Les Dragons d'Alcala – Interlude (entr'acte) before act 2
No. 5. Les Toréadors – Theme from prelude to act 1 and Procession of the Toreadors from act 4: "Les voici! voici la quadrille des Toreros!".
