Hi Youth Symphony! As you know, our first concert is this weekend.First, we have rehearsal as usual this Saturday, at 10:15 in Bone Hall as usual (low brass can arrive at 10:45).On Sunday, we first have a dress rehearsal, 1:45-3:00, in Baldwin Auditorium. All symphony members should be present for the full rehearsal. Please be ready to go on time, but don't enter the auditorium before 1:15 as the stage is being set. Enter the building by the lower, "back" doors, nearest Markham Ave., and leave all cases in the "Green Room" downstairs.Then, please return to Baldwin by 6:00 pm for the 6:30 concert. Details of how to enter and exit the stage, to handle traffic flow between orchestras, will be announced on Saturday. Please note a separate email from Katharine Whitmore with general information, but I'll repeat some of it below:The map and parking directions to Baldwin Auditorium can be found here.Youth Symphony Concert Dress Code:  All BlackWomen:  Black blouse and slacks, or black dress.  All blouses and dresses should have a sleeve (cap sleeve, 3/4 or long sleeve are all fine).  Slacks and skirts should be tea length or floor length.  Black dress shoes.
 Men: Black dress shirt (i.e. collared, or nice buttoned shirt) and black slacks. Long black tie is optional.  All socks should be black and shoes should be black dress shoes.
