Dear Violin Choir 3, Our spring 2021 schedule is 3/13, 3/27, 4/17, 5/1 and 5/15 @12:40-1:40pm at the Baldwin Tent. We will record on the rehearsals scheduled for 5/1 and 5/15. If the weather is looking bad the evening before any of our in-person rehearsal dates, we will meet on Zoom at the same rehearsal time. Hi everyone, I look forward to our concert on March 3rd, and our new repertoire for our end-of-year concert on April 28th.  We will be doing more shifting and playing pieces with FLATS!  This will be the semester of Bb major. Attached is some of the music we will be working on during the 2018 Spring Season.  The theme for all ensembles for the March 3/4 concert weekend is Baroque music.  Our Baroque piece will be Rondeau by the English composer Henry Purcell.  We will also be playing a fiddle tune called The Arkansas Traveler and doing some shifting exercises to prepare for more shifting in our future pieces.  I will have print outs of these pieces in group class, and you can print extra copies off here if you lose them. Saturday, November 11th is our 50th Anniversary Celebration concert!  The Violin Choir 3 group class will be playing: 1. Mozart Lacrimosa (with repeat) 2. Swallowtail Jig (with repeat) 3.
