Welcome to the Beginner Cello Class of 2023/24!
Welcome to the 2023 Fall semester of beginner cello class! I'm looking forward to a fun an exciting year! Beginner cello will take place on Saturdays from 10:30-11:30am in room 086 in the Biddle music building. Our first class of the 2023 fall semester will be Saturday, September 9th.
-Please bring your cello, an end pin anchor, and a small chair or stool.
-You will receive a folder and music in our first class.
-Please bring your folder to every class.
-The music we’ll be using will also be available on this blog post in case you ever need another copy.
Important dates:
-Saturday, September 16: Ensemble social hour. Come meet the teacher, students, and families of each ensemble for 30 minutes after your rehearsal.
-Saturday, November 11: Violin and Cello Choir Concert, @ 4pm, Nelson Music Room
-Saturday, November 18: Solo recitals, 1-8pm, Nelson Music Room
-NO REHEARSALS NOVEMBER 25 (Thanksgiving weekend)
-Saturday, December 2: Last large ensemble rehearsals before winter break
